Your tanooki profile is unique to you so using a personal email address as your primary account email is ideal as you will have access to it even if you change companies, or work across multiple companies as a freelancer.

However, you might prefer to use a work email as your primary email, in which case please use your personal email as a secondary recovery route in case you move company,

Email verification

When you sign up, we need to ensure it is you by sending a verification email. If you’ve used your personal email address you should get this immediately (it’s always worth checking your junk/spam folder). If you used a work email address, the verification might get stuck in a corporate IT holding pen for some time. If the email still hasn’t landed, please speak to your IT administrator as only they have the keys to unblock.
