In order to maximise tanooki’s multicam player experience, and enjoy the fluid timeline, your media needs to be organised and uploaded in the correct folder structure and format as illustrated:
First, organise your projects media by shoot date
Within each shoot date, organise by camera
Within each camera, organise by camera card
YYYY-MM-DD\CAMA\CARDS\files
Create a folder named ‘ExternalAudio’ beneath the shoot date and add any external audio recordings
YYYY-MM-DD\ExternalAudio\DISK LABELS
Upload shoot day(s) by navigating to dailies>upload
tanooki will stitch your days camera and sound clips together to give you one 24 hour view for ALL cameras and sound that shot on that day. This is the fluid timeline.
Your camera media should be uploaded as .mp4 / .mov / .mxf in h264 or h265 to tanooki. tanooki is frame rate, frame size and bitrate agnostic. Current;y supported audio formats include WAV, PCM, AAC, MP3
